The steps we take to begin our work together will shape your donor stewardship for years to come.
When you engage Superhero Donor Stewardship, we utilize a comprehensive onboarding process and take a strategic approach to look at how to best steward your donors. The overarching goal for us in all our donor stewardship projects is to help our nonprofit organizationsbuild substantial relationships with their donors so that the donors grow closer to the organization and give at higher levels. This will sustain our nonprofits in the long run and fortify their local communities. Our relationship together starts with the steps below:

Onboarding Orientation:
We get to know you and your organization: your donors, your unique stewardship needs, your goals, and anything else you share with us: staff, organizational strategic plan, donorbase software, digital filing systems,etc.
We review your website, e-newsletters, appeals, social media, press releases and all other communications you share with us.

Create a simple strategy:
Together, we clarify the message we'll communicate to donors and specify who the donors are whom you want to reach.
We'll answer questions like: What do we want to say to our donors? What do we want to learn from our donors? What are our timelines? How will we follow up with donors? etc.
We'll also incorporate a plan to report results and measure success.

Superhero Donor Stewardship then implements the strategy:
We will take the following steps during the first month of our consultancy with you:
- call your donors on your behalf with your desired message;
- take notes from phone calls and any questions donors have;
- follow up with staff to answer donors' requests;
- call donors with answers to their questions; and
- send individual email follow ups to donors (Mission Builder and Advancement Plans).

And together we'll assess our progress. We will:

- write reports on a regular basis
- set a standing appointment and discuss with designated personnel.

We adjust the strategy and implement changes:
We will then implement any changes or adjustments needed to our strategy, continue with phone calls, and continue the cycle: strategy, implementation, reporting, adjustment. Our goal is to substantially increase donor giving to your organization through proper and long-term donor stewardship.
